ForeverAfter was founded in October 2014 by Marina Stefanaki and Iliana Roussos — two friends who met on the production team of a destination wedding in Patmos in 2011 and stayed in touch through three years of trying, and failing, to convince the agencies they worked for that small weddings deserved the same craft as 400-guest events. Marina had spent eight years as an art director at a Greek wedding magazine; Iliana had read law at the University of Athens before defecting to the family business — a 70-year-old florist on Solonos street, Helianthos Anthopoleion, that had supplied flowers for the weddings of three Greek prime ministers' children.
